Episode 2 - My first car

Welcome back, hope everyone had a good week or at least tried to. I know a lot of persons may be going through a rough patch with covid but let us hope for the best, let us hope this pass soon.

So here we are again. I have to say, that from the beginning I have been interested solely in manual aka standard transmission vehicles. I have always hated automatic. Automatics are boring, extremely. A lot of persons may want to battle me about how manuals are stressful especially recent days when so many cars are in existence and when every road has been a pile of traffic. Through thick and thin, the rough and the good times, I still love manual transmissions.... who wouldn't?

So lets get straight to it, I learned how to drive from a tender age but officially got my license about age 17, or 18, feel so long ago. My first car was purchased a few months before then and trust me I loved it. It wasn't anything too exited.

It was a suzuki. A very small suzuki, but what made it amazing was the fact that it was manual... It was a 4 speed manual, very weak but swift. It resembled a girl with no shape, just straight lines and tight angles... The vehicle had no curves what soever , but for a 1998 vehicle that was typical.... Many on lookers never liked it. I loved it..... It was great on gas and more over it was a manual. What more could I asked for.

I perfected my manual driving skills in that car, learning perfect clutch control, but what was perfect? I don't know, but that doesn't matter, once I wasn't stalling in that point in time, that was perfect for me.

What are your thoughts on this for a first car?

I loved it.......You see how it lack nice sexy curves. Memories.

Stay tuned next week for episode 3 where we continue the journey.......

Memories I tell you. Memories.

Back to reality, well like I said, call me Renhard. I look forward for having you on my journey to see where I am now in life 20 years later after my dad sold his vehicle......

This isn't one of those stories about the kid that stole his parents vehicle for a joyride, nor is it a story about how I became the best mechanic creating the best beast of a car. Just an average Joe here that love cars that all.... Lets see where the story goes.
